Thirty Days of Poetry(Day Five)

I just wonder if God ever thought about me
Us
We ain’t trying to be equal
be more than sequels…
I just wonder if God ever thought about his people
We still out here trying to reach
goals
Dipping and dabbing like we sea gulls
or them drapped out vehichles
It’s just me and yours
I just wonder if God ever thought about me
Or what I be, for those
That got forgetton in the midst of the
Media creep and coast
We just living for us
And I just Wonder if God ever thought about me…
We learned the three hundred sixty
and ain’t free
We just want to be part of this society
We crying daily like we was babies
born inside your penitentiary
And I just wonder if God ever thought about me.
I’m a child of the snow thats deep
that means it so cold in the world I call my streets…
I just wonder if God ever thought about me…
