ADB Shell Screenrecord ::: Record Video Of Android Screen

Adb allows us to use a flag to record our Android screens to a file. In order to record your screen use:

$ adb shell screenrecord /sdcard/file-you-want-to-record.mp4

You will NOT be prompted after this command is entered. Instead, your cursor will hang, and you will need to take whatever actions in your adb shell on your Android phone that you wish on this screen record.

After you are done with your Android screen recording, return back to your terminal and use:

CTRL C

This will finalize an mp4 video file on your Android device. You will then mv this video file from your Android device’s sdcard to working present directory by typing:

$ adb pull /sdcard/file-you-want-to-record.mp4
